Somerset Divers is based in Cheddar and is owned and run by Ken Fanson a PADI MSDT Instructor. Ken has lived in the area for 30 years and is well known locally. He learnt to dive in the Seychelles and became an Instructor in 2005. He has travelled the world diving, from the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Red Sea, New Zealand, Tonga, Zanzibar and Australia. But most of his dives have been in the South West of the UK.

Somerset Divers can cater for all your PADI courses from Bubblemaker for the 8 year olds through Open Water courses to the first professional diving level of Divemaster. Not sure whether you will enjoy diving, just come along for a “Try Dive”. Training takes place at Kings Leisure Centre, Cheddar. Ken with his team of Instructors can cover most Specialty courses, Deep, Wreck, Boat, Drift to name but a few and as Ken is a keen amateur photographer, the Digital Underwater Photographer course.
