Scalloping Dive, West Bay

Tue 17th August 2010

Trip Report

An evening dive at West Bay saw 11 of us set out to Saw Tooth Ledges. 15 minutes out and we were all kitting up and getting in. Straight down to 20m and the collecting bags were filling up. Plenty of scallops several edible crabs and the one that got away, a beauty of a lobster. Plenty of fish life and the fan corals really starting to grow now that they have stopped dredging the bottom. Back to the harbour and a beautiful sunset. In the car park things were getting dark, so torches next week.
