Ken set up Somerset Divers after diving his way around the world. He is still dreaming of working in warmer climates and heads off abroad for the sun whenever possible. He is keen to promote diving in the waters around the UK, observing and photographing the wildlife.

Elaine Fanson
Advanced Open Water Diver

Elaine will be there sorting out the paperwork for you. She is an Advanced Open Water diver and has even been known to get in the water in the UK, but having also dived her way around the world, definitely prefers warmer waters.

Russ has now joined the team permanently, he is an excellent instructor well known to many a student.

Andrea Goodchild
Instructor

Andrea has now joined Somerset Divers after a break from teaching. A keen diver travelling to many tropical destinations in search of that exciting dive.

Kat Krause
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor

Kat has now joined the Team and will soon be seen teaching with Somerset Divers. She has been travelling around the world diving in many foreign locations but has now returned to Somerset.

Peter Kelk
Divemaster

Peter now a fully qualified and competent Divemaster. Keen to dive wherever, whenever. He will be there at the dive site ready to assist you. Already an experienced diver and scallop taker.

Gary “Popstar” Widlake
Divemaster

Gary is now a fully fledged and excellent Divemaster. A talented musician and a real life Popstar. He will be found at our dive sites ready to assist you. We also promise to get a better photo of him!

Chris “Scaff” Johnson
Divemaster

Better known as Scaff, qualified at long last as a Divemaster, he is a fanatical diver building on his experiences diving from as many southwest locations as possible. He will be confidently assisting you at dive sites from now on.
