The PADI Rescue Diver course is a pivotal step in expanding a diver's knowledge and experience.
Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well-being of other divers.
You will learn how to react when another diver is in difficulty, how to respond when a diver appears to be unconscious in the water. The course will build your confidence not only to assist someone but as a diver yourself. This course is obviously a serious one, but ask any Rescue Diver and he will tell you it was good fun and very rewarding.
This is why the PADI Rescue Diver certification is a prerequisite for all PADI leadership-level training (PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, and Open Water Scuba Instructor).
