  Advanced Open Water

Professional Association Diving Instructors

Move up and experience real adventure with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.

As you step beyond the PADI Open Water Diver level, you make five adventure dives over 2 days and have the opportunity to try some of diving's most rewarding and useful specialty activities, such as deep diving, digital underwater photography, wreck diving and much more. These skills make diving much more than underwater sightseeing. With this qualification you will be able to dive to 30 metres (21 metres for Junior Advanced Open Water) .

One of the dives has to be a Deep Dive and another a Navigation Dive, but the others are what interests you. Boat Diving, Drift Diving, Underwater Digital Photography, Search and Recovery, Night Diving, Wreck Diving. Imagine combining just some of these dives in 2 days down on the South Coast.

A suggested package for UK diving would be Day one Peak Performance Bouyancy followed by Navigation. Day two would then be out on a boat to complete the Deep dive probably on one of the great wreck sites around the coast. Then onto the wreck to learn how to navigate your way safely around the site . Followed up by a good drift dive. What a weekend.

Boat fees are not included in the course price.

Contact me to discuss what interests you have and how the dives could be carried out.
